Detroit Custom Drum Company (DC/DC) is an independently owned and operated custom drum company based out of Detroit, MI. They build high quality custom drums 100% by hand. Their visual style has something for everyone, and the construction is influenced by a tradition of great drum builders from years ago. DC/DC uses only the highest quality components (maple shells, die-cast and brass hardware) and offer drums in virtually any diameter, thickness, construction method, species of wood, and finish you can dream of. If wood hoops, powder coating, or acrylics are your thingthey can do it! This particular snare is a 1 ply solid shell drum in the natural maple finish. It features die cast hoops, tube lugs, and a Dunnett throw-off. This snare combines superior volume and crack with excellent response and sensitivity. A very versatile snare, but especially great for jazz, funk, or R&B.
