The snare wire for a 14 Inches fibes sft snare drum has 16 strands, an overall length of 15 7/8 Inches, and a strand length of 14 7/8 Inches (including the soldered area on each end-plate). The end-plates are standard configuration, giving the player the choice of attachment method...either cable or strap. Puresound's vintage series snare wires are designed not only to replace worn and no longer available wires on vintage snares, they are also designed to enhance the performance of those classic drums.
