The Pearl UCA1450 Ultracast 14"x5" aluminum snare drum sports both full-bodied tone plus plenty of crack and volume, allowing you to cut through and sound amazing doing it. Using a thick (3mm) cast aluminum shell, the UCA1450 Ultracast is one of the thickest metal drums out there. Because it's cast, the aluminum shell stays true and offers totally accurate bearing edges. Its SuperHoop II hoops and precision lugs provide totally accurate and consistent tuning.
